Anaconda's Serpents took the diamond in 1900 as part of the Montana State League. Organized baseball arrived in a copper smelting town that needed something to cheer for beyond the next shift. Baseball gave Anaconda, Montana an identity beyond industry, a reason for the whole town to gather on summer evenings. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
The Details:
Arched distressed cream serif text reads "ANACONDA" above large bold cream lettering reading "SERPENTS."
