Eastern Peake's estate Pinot Noir is the introductory cuvee from their high-altitude vineyards at Coghills Creek in the Ballarat Highlands of Victoria, a blend of barrels from four blocks (Eastern Peake, Griffins Road, Walsh Block and Two Mile Hill). Naturally fermented in wax-lined open concrete vats, basket pressed, aged 12 months in barrique (20% new) and bottled without fining or filtering by winemaker Owen Latta. A cool-climate, savoury, minimal-intervention Pinot.
