Integrated cushioning pads help absorb vibration in moving environments. The plate is included with the Coast Guard Certification add-on; for residential house installs, a mounting plate is not required. Note: the pads can create a slight “rocky” feel when seated; remove the pads if you need a rigid mount.

Installation & Care (Quick Tips)

Unplug the unit and clear the floor area.

Bolt the mounting plate to the floor using 4 screws appropriate for your substrate.

Lower the toilet onto the pins; check stability and clearances.

If seating feels “rocky,” remove the pads for a rigid mount per your preference.

Follow the owner’s manual for final checks and vent or electrical steps.

Do I need this in a house?

No. For normal residential installations, Incinolet does not require a mounting plate. It is primarily for mobile or marine use. 

Is the mounting plate included with Coast Guard Certification?

Yes. The plate is included when you select the Coast Guard Certification add-on, and can also be purchased separately. 

Why does it feel a little “rocky”?
