The gorgeous pale green peridot is foil-backed and bezel set in a closed gold mount. The diamonds are bright with lots of fire and sparkle. They are in open-back settings (uncommon for the period) which explains why they all still they glisten so marvellously as the light is able to pass through the back and the settings can be cleaned easily. The underside of the bezel features gorgeous floral openwork gallery, which adjoins to scrolled bifurcating shoulders.

Antique Dutch marks for 18K gold are stamped on the inner band. The navette bezel measures 30mm north to south and 11mm east to west. Peridot weighs approximately 0.87cts. The ring remains in fantastic condition despite its impressive age!
