Born in Lyon, from a very young age, his passion was painting, but, giving in to family influence, he chose medicine, While becoming a renown surgeon, he divided his time between Medicine and Art
Prizes and Distinctions include the Maurice Utrillo Prize 1964 and a medal of honor from the Lyon Society of Fine Arts.
Member of the Salon du Sud-Est until his death in 2004.
