We present the SHPRITZ Freerace Fin by Future Fly x Wind Lounge.

The Future Fly x Wind Lounge Shpritz fin has a clear mission: to take your freerace experience to the next level by making railing of the board easier and your jibes smoother. 

Technical features - Of course, the characteristics of the fin have their origin in years of development. The fin was designed by Future Fly on the basis of the Z-Fins model "ZSLM". The profile of the renowned World Cup fin has been toned down to allow a more passive approach from the board and easier jibes. To achieve this, the fin has been rounded towards the tip while retaining the ZSLM profile. The flex of the fin starts closer to the base and decreases towards the tip. The softer base ensures a pleasant, balanced lift. In contrast to slalom fins, the lift also grips without having to press harder against the fin, but is not as strong. The fin is made of high-quality Carbon via mold - both the fin and the fin head are made of Carbon.

Size recommendation - As every set-up is different, there are no clear size recommendations. It is best to ask the Wind Lounge team. Please send a compact email (to [email protected]) stating your height, weight, board, volume, width, and the sails you want to use. If you have any particular problems, such as spin-outs, please mention them briefly. Otherwise, the Shpritz fins behave in the same way as other fins when choosing the size.

Insider Story - The fin was "created" as part of the White Tiger program on Rhodes. Here, Arnon Dagan and Mario Kümpel tested the originally rather inconspicuous fin. Compared to high-end slalom fins, the fin did not offer the same top speed, but it came close. What stood out was the ease with which the board could be placed on the rails and the smooth ride that was nevertheless maintained. While the slalom fins had to be controlled with muscle power and technique, the riding experience with the Shpritz fin was much more relaxed. The same was observed with the power jibes, which were easier to ride than with the pure slalom fins. The fin became part of the White Tiger program and is now in serial production.
