Fantastic wrapper dress circa 1860s in the most beautiful shade of iridescent midnight purple with black velvet trim.⁣

Silk with a glazed cotton lining throughout, tarlatan / muslin at the hem, and twill tape inside the waistband.

Black velvet button closures about three quarters down the front, it does not open fully. One hook and eye closure at the front waist.

Gathered at the waist around the sides and back. She is hand sewn and charmingly imperfect with so many tiny stitches and beautiful details!

Voluminous skirt, shown with a petticoat underneath, which is not included.
