The Blooming Hour

A bat raises its wings against a full and knowing moon, at the midnight hour amongst the bloom. A Night Garden holds its secrets close, deep and still, while night itself bends softly to her will. No witness but the stars that dim and sway, as night inhales the last of shining day..

Swaying fields of flowers hold a piece of a dark moon - one that has been carved out of obsidian! Complete with the moon's craters and all. This particular piece of obsidian offers very strong, silvery, velvet flash - Your very own miniature waxing and waning moon!

Completely handmade out of solid sterling silver, permanently hung from the chain as shown above. It measures approximately 18" long. The piece itself measures approximately 37mm by 18mm at widest points. It has been given a mixture of high polishes and satin/brushed finishes. The last picture is a video still, taken under artificial light to further show the moon glow held within the stone.
