An 18th century carved French Country Louis XV period enfilade buffet handcrafted by talented artisans near Lyon of solid walnut, circa 1750s, having a rectangular plank top above three drawers over three recessed molded panel doors with original iron hardware and hand carved details throughout. Doors open to reveal a spacious storage compartment with a single shelf. Carved, scalloped apron raised on short cabriole legs ending in scrolled French toes. Unmistakably French, with a beautiful rich patina, this lovely provincial buffet is perfect for entertaining, having plenty of storage and a nice serving surface. The narrow depth of this versatile piece makes it perfect for a dining room, foyer, or in a den as a media cabinet.
