NOTE- What we have available are young 2025 seedlings. These plants are small but will grow quickly once planted! American senna is a tall (4-6'), eye-catching herbaceous perennial plant that produces brilliant yellow flowers in July and August and striking pea pod-like seed capsules in fall. Prefers full sun and average water levels, is tolerant of heat and humidity. Like other legumes, wild senna fixes soil nitrogen. Flowers attract many pollinators and seeds are sought out by larger birds such as wild turkeys. Host plant of several species of sulfur butterflies. Zones 4-9.
