The Com-Power LB-168 Signal Power and Balance Set is used to analyze Longitudinal Signal Power and Longitudinal Balance according to the Part 68 and Industry Canada CS-03 requirements. These requirements specify technical criteria that must be met by the telephone equipment before it can be connected to the public switched telephone network in the United States and Canada. In the United States the Part 68 requirements are administered by the Administrative Council for Terminal Attachments (ACTA). The LB-168 is part of the TS-568 telecom test station.
