Virginia Sweetspire 'Henry's Garnet' is an award-winning, deciduous shrub that received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. It has stunning, faint-scented, creamy white blossoms that appear in the middle of Spring until early Summer and covers the entire shrub. Its beautiful foliage is oval-shaped and dark green, then changes into brilliant red and purple during Fall and lasts until Winter. It loves either full sun or full shade, and easy to take care of. It is ideally used as a foundation, hedge or border. It can also be used in mass planting and in an open woodland garden. It has no complex disease and pest issues and is deer-resistant. It can also tolerate wet and clay soils. Its maximum height is only 4 feet and spreads up to 6 feet wide. Don't forget to water it regularly during dry weather.
