An antique French Louis XIII style carved enfilade buffet handcrafted of solid oak by talented atisans in the picturesque town of Honfleur, a commune in the Calvados department located on the Normandy coast on the southern bank of the estuary where the River Seine meets the English Channel, circa 1920s. This handsome bleached enfilade features a rectangular plank top with beveled edge above four drawers with original iron pulls over four carved four-panel doors divided by pilasters having stylized palmette carvings with marguerites at the top of each one. Doors open to reveal a spacious interior with a single shelf. Raised on bun feet. An elegant, yet unpretentious piece that is perfect for entertaining.
