The opening sequence of A View to a Kill finds Bond skiing the Vedretta di Scerscen Inferiore glacier in the Swiss Alps. Barton Perreira's 007 Vedretta faithfully recreates the glasses, taking its name from that glacier. The frame pairs polished acetate fronts with engraved titanium temples in a retro silhouette that sits close to the 1985 original. The 55mm CR39 lenses carry an anti-reflection coating, the bridge runs 17mm, and the 148mm temples are handmade in Japan through a six-to-eight-week process that takes each frame from raw material to deep-glossy finish. Three colorways: Black with black satin noir lenses, Tamboura Tortoise with antique gold hardware and espresso lenses, and Matte Dusk with pewter temples and basalt lenses. Each ships in a limited edition Barton Perreira x 007 collection case with cleaning cloth.
