These multichrome saddle pads are made from an amazing fabric that changes colour when viewed from different angles! Depending on the angle and lighting these pads may appear gold, rose gold, or pink. They also have a sprinkling of glitter throughout for some added sparkle. Made with a sweat wicking cotton underside and 12mm shock absorbing comfort foam. Some of the jump cut pads will have fabric on the girth portion which reflects colours in the opposite way to the rest of the pad (e.g when the bulk of the pad is reflecting gold, the girth portion might reflect pink and vice versa), this is due to the way fabric is cut to reduce fabric wastage.

Read before purchasing: The material used to give these pads their amazing colour changing effect is more textured than our usual glitter pads, so I tested a sample pad with my saddle for 6 months to check if it would scratch or mark the saddle in anyway. My saddle had absolutely no marks or scratches during this period and I would be very surprised if these saddle pads were to have any ill effect on any saddle, however we are a small business and simply can't afford to buy you a new saddle if it were to get a mark, so we have added this disclaimer for legal purposes: By purchasing this item you accept that the fabric is textured and may leave marks on your saddle or other tack, and you use this saddle pad at your own risk.

These pads are not as glittery as our glitter pads, they just have a light sprinkling and this does shed a lot easier than our glitter saddle pad fabric does. We recommend storing these pads in their plastic bags that they come in to keep your other tack free from glitter.

Size Guide:

Our saddle pads fit fairly true to size. If you usually purchase saddle pads from brands that only make sizes Pony and Full then you will likely find our saddle pads to be a similar fit to those. If you usually purchase saddle pads from brands that make sizes Pony, Cob, and Full then you will likely find our Full size pads to be slightly smaller than their Full size, and our Pony size pads to be slightly large than their Pony size – this is because we do not make a Cob size.

If you have a pony 12hh-14hh choose Pony size. If you have a horse over 15hh choose Full size. If you have a 14hh-15hh choose Pony size for saddles 16.5” and under, or Full size for saddles over 16.5”. We do have a lot of customers who use our Pony size pads on ponies 11-11.3hh however some people have found the pads to be a bit too large for ponies that size (they are still perfectly useable, they just may look a little large).

Due to the shape of the Jump saddle pads they are longer in length (along the horse’s spine) than a GP pad and are best suited to ponies 13hh and up. We recommend our GP and dressage cut pads for 12-13hh ponies and custom made for ponies below that height. Breed and build dependent.
