You will receive a package containing five Brown-eyed Susan plants in 2.5-inch pots. Rudbeckia triloba, commonly known as Brown-eyed Susan, branched coneflower, thin-leaved coneflower and three-lobed coneflower, is native to North America. Though it's often mistaken for the similar-looking Black-eyed Susan, Brown-eyed Susan grows taller in size (up to 36") and produces smaller flowers in loose clusters rather than on single stems. Once established, this hardy plant won’t require much maintenance, as it is drought resistant and will slowly spread via seed and offsets for years to come. These fantastic yellow flowers will attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies with the added bonus of being naturally deer resistant. Prefers rich, moist soil and full sun, hardy in zones 4-8. Brown-eyed Susan can be used as a cut flower allowing for beautiful bouquets throughout the late summer and early fall months. Do not let these cuties pass you by, Brown-eyed Susans are worth a try!
