System 800xA 6.2 — Reducing project costs and complexity for networked 1/0 and device installations:
- 100% increase in supported networked 1/0 stations and devices on AC 800M's Ethernet based 1/0 network via the C1871A (PROFINET) Communications Interface Module.
- Native integration support for Ethernet APL devices through System 800xA's Device Import Wizard.
- Native connectivity to ABB and 3rd party PROFIsafe devices for use in SIL applications to reduce any unnecessary hard- ware and costs in safety projects.
- New Ethernet 1/0 Marshalling Tool that assists project engi- neers in the distribution of individual Select 1/0 channels for up to 10 different AC 800M controllers.
